My name is Samuli Hakoniemi and this is my handcrafted portfolio featuring React Native projects I’ve been working with.

In 2025, I started working as a Mobile Developer at Codemate. I'm focusing both on React Native and also on Flutter.

My history and experience consists of working as a Full Stack Developer, although past ten years, my focus has been on mobile development.

I've been working with React Native nearly ten years. I've been involved in many projects, both as a consultant and full-time employee.

These hand-picked applications are the ones I'm most proud of. I can't point all the details due to limitations of ownership.

AnyTwo

A poker tournament manager app targeted for tablet devices. Currently available only on iOS. This is a solo project.

Financial Administration App

A financial invoicing app, mostly for small businesses for iOS and Android. I joined on existing team and contributed on various tasks.

Grocery e-commerce app for iOS and Android. I was part of the developing team, working also as a Team Lead role.

2020

Veikkaus Mobile

Gambling entertainment application for iOS and Android. I joined on existing team and contributed on boosting the UI/UX and tasks like E2E testing.

Bowl of Sins

"Truth or dare" game for iOS and Android. This was a solo project I developed during the corona lockdown.

2019

Traffic App

Public Transport support app for iOS and Android. I joined on existing team, focusing on new features and UI/UX improvements.

2018

Fueling and Services App

An application focusing on fueling and services, made for iOS and Android. I joined on existing team and focused on new features and improving existing app.

2017

eCom App

A promotional app for iOS and Android. I was creating the proof-of-concept and later on we build the first iteration of production level application together with other developer.

Publication and Magazine App

A news publication app for iOS. I started creating the proof-of-concept and later on I mentored the other developers to build the whole application.

2016

P2P Interpretation App

Peer-to-peer interpretation app for iOS and Android. I started the project development on React Native and created a MVP. Later on I focused together with other developer on building the whole set of features.

Gaming App

A mobile game for iOS. This was one of my first React Native solo projects and I focused on the whole architecture. Later it was discontinued lack of resources.

2015

Restaurant Food App

An application focusing on sharing leftover food from restaurants, made for iOS and Android. I joined this startup company from beginning and focused on developing the whole application.
